Networking should never be boring.
As a barber and founder, I have watched a simple conversation in the chair become a new client, mentor, collaborator, partnership, or business opportunity. Barbers are master networkers. We create trust quickly, remember people deeply, and make every connection personal.
That is the energy I built into this experience. Live barbering and visual art keep the room moving while real connections take shape.

Founder + Executive Director
Best known as “Girl That Fades”
Bria Riddick is the founder and executive director of The Art of Barbering VA. A licensed Virginia cosmetologist, entrepreneur, and experience producer, she has spent more than a decade turning creative vision into rooms people remember.
She created AOB to honor the art behind the chair and the people who move culture forward. Her experiences bring live barbering, visual art, connection, and opportunity into one elevated room.

For the 2026 experience, I brought together barbers, educators, artists, entrepreneurs, vendors, and sponsors for two days of learning, showcasing, and connection. In 2027, I am carrying that momentum into one unforgettable day built for stronger relationships and bigger opportunities.
